At Percepi, Mike works with leaders at all levels of organizations, helping them to achieve success in their projects, particularly focusing on the ‘hard’ skills of project management, such as profit and loss, business rhythm, project growth, and personnel management. He leverages exceptional experience at tackling a project’s biggest challenges.
Prior to Percepi, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Glodyne/Decision One, a $150M hardware maintenance business that supports the government and commercial marketplace. Mike was also President, Wamnet Government Services, a $150M network management services company supporting the Federal Government. He was instrumental in turning around this troubled business from a major cash user to a major cash producer. The company was sold to the Harris Corporation for $400M.
He was formally with Lockheed Martin as a Vice President within their Management and Data Systems Division providing support primarily to the Intelligence Community. Prior to its purchase by Martin Marietta, Mike was a General Manager with GE Aerospace. Mike has run a variety of businesses supporting a diverse set of markets including Federal Government Intelligence, Defense, State and Local Government, and International Satellite Telecommunications.
Mike holds an engineering degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Management from Purdue University.

He is skilled at helping leaders strengthen their ability to motivate teams, lead change and transformation efforts, and demonstrate the emotional intelligence needed to drive success at all levels of the organization. He helps teams reach their full potential while building the skills needed to learn and grow professionally throughout their careers.
Prior to joining Percepi, Gary has served in such roles as Director of Leadership Development at CarMax, VP of Talent Management at LandAmerica Financial Group, Learning and Development Manager at MeadWestvaco (MWV), Manager of Career and Professional Development at Northrop-Grumman, and Executive Coach at Right Management which allowed him to lead, develop and deliver programs that had strategic importance and value for the organizations’ current and future success. As the founder of his own consulting firm, he gained the entrepreneurial experience needed to help leaders and teams foster and apply those skills within their organizations to innovate and drive change.
Gary holds a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia and a B.S. in Psychology from North Georgia College.
